When the inaugural competition was held in 2013, 17 teams showed up to compete for the best BBQ chicken and ribs. On April 20, 2024, 48 teams from across the country will vie for the title of Grand Champion. More importantly, 7,500 people are expected to attend to cheer them on!
While serious competitors are sweating it out at the Dr. George Smith BBQ Battle, middle Tennesseans will be soaking up the rays with great food, games and contests, and live entertainment. Your sponsorship dollars will put your brand in front of thousands of Middle Tennesseans.
And don’t forget, our event supports dozens of non-profits in our community.
